Gender equality, besides being a fundamental
human right, is essential to achieve peaceful societies, with full
human potential and sustainable development. It is therefore
fundamental to promote it through all generations, especially from
an early age, in order to build a community more aware of this
issue.
However, how should we deal with children on such a
sensitive topic? Have you ever struggled for simply answering
questions asked by your children about gender equality?
No more worries! Gendy is what you need.
It is an application with educational contents such as comics and
cartoons, that will allow your children to better understand the
issues while having fun at the same time.
Let's give it a try!
We intend to keep our service free to use by everyone with the help of some partners (NGOs,governments,etc...) in order to have a maximum impact in an educational way.
All our content and our design are destined for kids, with a special age limit to make it easier for the parents to chose the content and with no possibility to be used in a harmful way by strangers.
In our application, we offer many topics related directly to the main subject "Gender equality", and we also intend to improve our database with many others in the future.
1. The first step is to choose a subject among several relative to the gender equality.
2. After selecting a topic about gender equality, You can choose between watching a cartoon or reading a comic book for children who know how to do it.
3. Then, you will be proposed several contents specified according to the recommended age.
4. At the end, you will have access to this chosen content, and be able to add a comment about it or write it for your child.
Great idea. We need more kid-friendly apps like this. It is a great help for parents who use it.

I frequently use Gendy with my 5 year old daughter. She loves cartoons and I notice that she speaks more on equality issues. She has more confidence. Thank you Gendy.
-Yves Koné, father of a 5 year old girl
It is a very good idea to teach children to better treat women in their environment. Gendy's topics are very well chosen and the content is of great quality.
